Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry and Office Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting data into various systems, managing office documentation, and supporting daily administrative operations with our purchasing, payables and finance departments. Your technical proficiency, organizational skills, and commitment to confidentiality will be essential in maintaining smooth office workflows and ensuring data integrity.

Responsibilities

Enter data accurately into databases, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Word
Manage data collection processes, ensuring completeness and correctness of information
Maintain and update product inventories and customer/vendor records with precision
Handle transcription tasks, converting audio or handwritten notes into digital formats with attention to detail
Support office operations by organizing files, documents, and confidential information securely
Utilize pivot tables and Excel data analysis techniques to generate reports and identify trends
Provide excellent customer service by responding to internal inquiries promptly and professionally
Assist other departments as needed

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (including data entry in Excel, pivot tables, data analysis) and Word processing
Strong computer skills with experience in databases, database systems, ERP systems, and productivity software
Excellent typing skills (10 key typing) with a focus on accuracy and speed
Knowledge of data collection methods, transcription techniques, and handling confidential information responsibly
Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for data validation and calculations within spreadsheets
Technical proficiency in using spreadsheets for data analysis such as creating pivot tables and charts
Office experience with a focus on data entry, document management, and customer service
