Supply Chain Scheduler

Location: Walpole, MA

IMPORTANT CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS & WORK ARRANGEMENT

U.S. Citizenship is required for this position. This role supports a U.S. defense organization and Naval-related operations and is subject to NOFORN (No Foreign Nationals) requirements. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens to be considered.

Hybrid Work Opportunity

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, providing flexibility to balance time between the office, home, or another remote location. Employees are expected to work onsite for collaboration and other business needs an average of three days per week.

Please note that this is a locally managed, flexible, discretionary arrangement. The position will also require the ability to work on the manufacturing floor when necessary.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Make an Impact in Supply Chain

As a Supply Chain Scheduler, you will play an integral role in preparing, planning, issuing, and controlling production schedules while coordinating material requirements to ensure approved materials are available when needed to support production.

This is an opportunity for a supply chain professional who enjoys working across multiple functions, solving problems, managing priorities, and helping keep production moving. You will collaborate with teams throughout the organization, provide management with visibility into work status, and help identify and resolve potential production obstacles.

You will contribute to work supporting critical Naval and defense operations.

What You’ll Do

As a Supply Chain Scheduler, you will coordinate the flow of materials and components needed to support production. You will work across departments and with suppliers to help ensure materials are available when required and potential obstacles are identified and addressed.

Key Accountabilities

Manage incoming components and parts based on the master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
Work closely with suppliers to confirm material demand, availability, and delivery dates in support of Naval-related production.
Coordinate interdepartmental activity across quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and other functions.
Schedule and expedite the movement of parts through move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests.
Work within enterprise resource planning systems, including SAP or similar platforms, to maintain data integrity and track supplier commitments.
Communicate material status, potential shortages, and schedule risks to appropriate stakeholders.
Help identify and resolve issues that could affect production schedules or material availability.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who brings strong organization, communication, follow-through, and supply chain fundamentals to a cross-functional manufacturing environment.

Basic Requirements

2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing, manufacturing, or a related area, or a relevant degree.
Ability to sit for extended periods and work on the manufacturing floor when necessary.
Must be a U.S. Citizen due to the defense nature of the position and applicable NOFORN requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP or supply chain systems such as SAP, Infor, or similar platforms.
Project management experience.
Experience collaborating across multiple departments or business functions.
Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, maritime, or other highly regulated environment is a plus.

Work Arrangement

Manufacturing Floor: Candidates must be comfortable working on the manufacturing floor when business needs require.

Relocation: Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

U.S. Citizenship: Required due to the defense nature of the position and applicable NOFORN requirements.

Travel: Up to 15% travel, primarily to local vendors throughout the New England area.
