Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food production, and a positive team environment. Your leadership will drive the restaurant’s success by managing staff, controlling inventory, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering memorable dining experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.

Duties

Lead daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, managing shift schedules, and ensuring smooth service flow.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards and consistency across all menu items.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective food management.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Train, develop, and mentor team members to enhance their skills in food handling, customer service, and restaurant procedures.
Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures, balancing tills, and preparing financial reports.
Implement staffing strategies by interviewing candidates and selecting qualified personnel to build a strong team.
Monitor budget adherence and contribute to financial planning through effective cost control measures.
Foster a welcoming atmosphere that emphasizes hospitality, customer satisfaction, and team collaboration.

Experience

Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with a strong background in food service management.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and kitchen management.
Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on staff training & development within a hospitality or restaurant setting.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting.
Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food safety compliance within the food industry.
Prior casual dining or fine dining experience is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on creating memorable guest experiences from casual to hotel-style hospitality settings.
