Full Job Description

Job Summary
ExamTablesDirect.com is seeking a reliable, professional, and physically strong Independent Contractor for the local delivery and white-glove installation of medical office furniture (including exam tables and cabinetry) in the Tampa area. Room for growth/managerial position.

This is an independent 1099 contractor position starting on a part-time/as-needed basis, estimated to start at 15-25 hours per week.

It is a great opportunity for an owner-operator to add a high-paying contract to their route. We pay a LARGE PREMIUM RATE to contractors who provide your own commercial delivery vehicle and **are capable of handling heavy installations solo**

Duties

Safely operate a box truck or cargo van to deliver goods to various customer sites, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload items using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of heavy or bulky products
Assist with the installation and setup of products at customer locations, providing excellent service and support throughout the process
Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and ensure timely arrivals at each destination
Communicate professionally with customers upon arrival, addressing any questions or concerns with a positive attitude
Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records for each shipment
Perform routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure the truck is clean and well-maintained
Travel to Orlando area

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or cargo vans preferred
Proven delivery driver experience, especially with route driving and load & unload tasks
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving and heavy lifting safely
Warehouse experience including familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual transmission vehicles is a plus
Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols necessary for operating large vehicles
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

To qualify for the premium pay rate, you must provide:

Vehicle: A 16ft–26ft Box Truck or a High-Roof Cargo Van.
Liftgate or Ramp Required: Because medical exam tables are exceptionally heavy, your vehicle must have a functional liftgate or specialized ramp setup to load/unload safely.
Ability to perform white glove duties solo

Compensation: $50 to $70 per hour
