Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Prep and Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing high-quality ingredients and executing delicious dishes in a fast-paced environment. Your energy, attention to detail, and culinary skills will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise while contributing to a lively, team-oriented atmosphere.

Duties

Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning for daily menu items
Assist in cooking and assembling dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols
Support menu planning by suggesting improvements based on ingredient availability and customer preferences
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and rotation to prevent waste and ensure freshness
Participate in catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely service
Serve food efficiently while providing friendly, professional customer service to guests

Experience

Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with food handling procedures
Experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is preferred; culinary experience is a plus
Strong knife skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques are essential for efficiency and safety
Background in the food industry or kitchen environment helps ensure quick adaptation to our standards
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices is required
Experience with menu planning or catering services enhances your ability to contribute creatively to the team
Prior food service or restaurant experience will support your success in this energetic role

Pay Rate: $23.18 ( includes $4.93 in Cash Benefits)

Shift Hours:

Afternoon Shift: 1:00 pm to 7:30 pm and Day Shift 7am to 2pm both available

Shifts are available Saturday and Sundays

Pay: From $23.18 per hour
