Full Job Description

Overview

Lumpy's Flowers is a California cannabis flower brand on a mission to become a top 10 brand in every door we sell. We're hiring a field-first Outside Sales / Account Manager to own and grow our retail relationships across Northern California. If you love being in stores, know the California buyer landscape, and can run a deal from first pitch to reorder to paid invoices this is your role.

What you'll own

Key buyer relationships. Build and deepen real relationships with buyers, GMs, and store managers across your territory. You'll be the face of Lumpy's in your accounts.
The full sales cycle. Prospect, pitch, negotiate placements and promotions, launch products, and drive reorders. You own the account end-to-end — not just the order.
Field-first execution. Expect to be in the field roughly 4 days a week — running store visits, buyer meetings, displays, and in-store execution.
Disciplined follow-through. Keep your weekly route plans and account notes documented, follow through on retailer commitments, and stay on top of collections.

What we're looking for

Existing relationships with Northern California cannabis retailers and buyers (strongly preferred).
A true field operator who'd rather be in stores than behind a desk.
Someone who can own the full sales cycle and close independently.
Strong documentation and follow-through habits — you keep your book organized.
A genuine passion for cannabis and the people in this industry.
3+ years in account management, territory sales, or key accounts (cannabis, CPG, beverage, or adjacent regulated retail).

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (field role).
Based in or near the NorCal territory.
Ability to lift and carry display kits and merchandising materials.
Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events, store meetings, and launches.
Must meet all state and local requirements to enter and work with licensed cannabis retailers.
Must be 21 or older.
