Movement Therapist (DPT, DC, ATC Backgrounds Encouraged)
Milestones Movement Therapy | Davis, CA
Help People Move Better. Think Deeper. Practice Differently.
Milestones Movement Therapy is seeking a Movement Therapist to join our growing team in Davis, California.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about human movement, biomechanics, problem solving, and helping people perform and feel their best.
Our work exists in the space between conventional healthcare and traditional fitness. We help individuals of all ages and capacities better understand how they move, identify limitations and compensations, improve physical function and performance, reduce injury risk, and build sustainable strategies that support their long-term goals.
Every client is different.
There are no protocols, cookie-cutter programs, or predetermined treatment plans.
Instead, we use movement assessment, exercise programming, bodywork, recovery modalities, education, and performance principles to create highly individualized plans designed around each person's unique goals, history, movement patterns, lifestyle, and physical capabilities.
Whether someone is preparing for a marathon, recovering from recurring setbacks, returning to strength training, improving athletic performance, preparing for or recovering from surgery while working alongside their healthcare team, navigating the demands of everyday life, or simply seeking to move with greater confidence and resilience, our role is to help them better understand and improve the way their body functions.
We believe meaningful change happens when practitioners have the time, autonomy, and freedom to think critically, build relationships, and deliver truly individualized care.
If you're energized by movement assessment, biomechanics, exercise prescription, human performance, and solving complex movement challenges, we'd love to meet you.
