POSITION OVERVIEW
Next Level Soccer Camps is seeking highly motivated, organized, professional, and trustworthy Site Directors / Camp Directors to lead our Youth Camp locations.
The Site Director is the operational leader of an assigned camp location and is responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the camp reflects the standards of Next Level Soccer Camps.
This is more than a coaching position.
The Site Director is responsible for leading staff, creating an outstanding player experience, communicating professionally with parents, overseeing camp operations, maintaining safety standards, supporting curriculum delivery, solving problems, and representing the Next Level Soccer Camps brand.
EXPANDED LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY: ALL CAMP PROGRAMMING
In addition to leading our standard Youth Summer Camps, the Site Director will also be responsible for overseeing and executing all camp programming offered at their assigned locations, including:
- Youth Summer Camps (Core Programming)
- Elite Performance Camps (Advanced / High-Performance Training Environment)
- Future Residential Performance Camps (Overnight / Multi-Day Immersive Programming)
This means the Site Director is not just managing a single camp type—they are the lead operational and performance authority for all Next Level Soccer Camps programming within their assigned market or location.
As the organization expands, this role will evolve into a key leadership position responsible for ensuring consistency, quality, and excellence across multiple camp formats, including more advanced and immersive player-development environments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Camp Leadership
- Serve as the primary on-site leader for the assigned camp location.
- Set the tone for professionalism, energy, organization, and accountability.
- Lead and support camp coaches throughout the week.
- Conduct pre-camp and daily staff meetings.
- Clearly communicate staff assignments and expectations.
- Address performance or professionalism concerns promptly and respectfully.
- Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout the camp day.
- Help create a positive culture among staff, campers, and families.
Camp Operations
- Execute the Next Level Soccer Camps Site Director Handbook and operational procedures.
- Prepare the camp site before campers arrive.
- Coordinate equipment, camp supplies, marketing materials, camper shirts, prizes, and other required materials.
- Organize training groups and staff assignments.
- Maintain accurate attendance and camper-management records.
- Manage camper check-in and check-out procedures.
- Ensure all campers are properly accounted for throughout the camp day.
- Manage transitions between activities, breaks, lunch, training sessions, and dismissal.
- Coordinate certificates, player evaluations, surveys, and closing packets.
- Lead the end of Week Closing Ceremony.
- Complete required daily and post-camp reporting.
Player Experience
- Help create an environment that is fun, competitive, developmental, inclusive, and memorable.
- Ensure players are appropriately grouped based initially on age and subsequently adjusted for ability and appropriate challenge.
- Monitor player engagement throughout the week.
- Support players who may be struggling socially, emotionally, physically, or developmentally.
- Reinforce Next Level Soccer Camps character-development initiatives and Words of the Day.
- Recognize effort, improvement, sportsmanship, persistence, leadership, and positive attitude.
- Help ensure every player leaves camp feeling valued and excited about continuing their development.
Curriculum & Coaching Quality
Site Directors are not expected to personally coach every training group but are responsible for maintaining the quality of the soccer environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Understand the weekly curriculum and daily Topic of the Day.
- Ensure coaches are delivering sessions connected to the daily topic.
- Observe coaches throughout the day.
- Ensure sessions are organized, safe, engaging, and age-appropriate.
- Help coaches modify activities when necessary.
- Monitor whether players are receiving appropriate repetitions and challenge.
- Ensure coaches actively coach rather than simply supervise activities.
- Correct coaching-quality concerns professionally.
- Allow experienced coaches appropriate freedom while maintaining Next Level Soccer Camps standards.
Next Level Soccer Camps provides approved curriculum resources and sample sessions while allowing qualified coaches reasonable flexibility within the objectives of the program.
Parent Communication
- Serve as a professional and approachable point of contact for camp families.
- Send approved pre-camp, daily recap, and closing communications.
- Communicate schedule reminders, Theme Days, and important camp information.
- Listen carefully to parent concerns and respond professionally.
- Resolve reasonable on-site issues when appropriate.
- Escalate significant issues to senior leadership.
- Never independently promise refunds, discounts, credits, or special financial arrangements.
- Help families understand the developmental mission and experience of Next Level Soccer Camps.
Health, Safety & Supervision
Camper safety is the Site Director's highest operational priority.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure campers are supervised at all times.
- Maintain accurate check-in/check-out procedures.
- Review relevant camper medical information.
- Know the location of required emergency medication or medical devices when applicable.
- Ensure bathroom and transition procedures follow required safeguarding expectations.
- Monitor weather and environmental conditions.
- Respond appropriately to injuries and medical concerns.
- Contact emergency services immediately when required.
- Complete required incident documentation accurately and promptly.
- Immediately escalate significant safety, medical, behavioral, safeguarding, or facility concerns.
Brand Representation
The Site Director represents Next Level Soccer Camps throughout the entire camp experience.
Directors are expected to:
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Communicate respectfully.
- Model appropriate behavior.
- Protect the reputation of the organization.
- Represent company and camp partners professionally.
- Maintain appropriate boundaries with campers and families.
- Avoid promoting outside private services, competing programs, or unrelated businesses during camp.
- Protect confidential company, camper, parent, staff, medical, curriculum, and operational information.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Previous youth soccer coaching, camp leadership, education, recreation, athletics, or related experience
- Experience working with children and families
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational ability
- Demonstrated reliability and professionalism
- Ability to lead and hold staff accountable
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure
- Working knowledge of soccer training and player development
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
- Ability to be active throughout the camp day
- Ability to complete all required background checks, safeguarding requirements, and US Sports Camps compliance requirements
- Ability to work the complete assigned camp week
- Access to reliable transportation
Preferred
- Collegiate, academy, professional, or high-level youth coaching experience
- US Soccer, UEFA, United Soccer Coaches, or comparable coaching education
- College soccer playing experience
- Professional or semi-professional playing experience
- MLS NEXT, ECNL, Girls Academy, NAL, academy, or competitive club coaching experience
- Previous Camp Director or Site Director experience
- Experience supervising coaching staff
- Experience communicating directly with parents
- Teaching, school, recreation, athletic administration, or youth-development experience
- CPR / First Aid certification
- Experience managing events or youth programs
High-level soccer credentials are valuable, but character, leadership, reliability, communication, and organizational ability are equally important to us.

COMPENSATION
Youth Summer Camp / Elite Performance Camp Week Compensation
$1,500 per camp week
Compensation covers the Director's assigned camp-week responsibilities as well as reasonable required preparation associated with operating the assigned camp.
Performance Incentives (Youth Summer Camp Only)
Directors will also receive a bonus of 5% of Net Profit for their camp sites success on top of their base pay.

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY
Youth Summer Camps generally operate Monday through Friday.
Standard camper programming for this camp type typically runs approximately:
9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Site Directors should expect to arrive before camper check-in and remain until all campers have been properly dismissed and required site responsibilities have been completed.
Friday includes a Closing Ceremony as well.
Additional preparation is required before the camp week, including communication, staff coordination, camper-management preparation, curriculum review, and facility preparation.
