Full Job Description

Licensed Child Psychologist, licensed in California | Build Your Insurance-Based Practice with Lean Medical

Compensation: $175/hour | Up to $350,000/year

Location: Remote (Telehealth)

Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Preferred: Active credentialing with Aetna, Blue Shield and/or Cigna

Lean Medical is a clinical platform that handles the entire operational backbone of an insurance-based psychology practice: credentialing, billing, prior authorizations, claims, and compliance. You see patients and get paid without the overhead.

We’re actively recruiting licensed child psychologists who are already credentialed with Aetna, Blue Shield or Cigna and want to build or expand a telehealth caseload under our platform.

How It Works

You practice under Lean Medical’s group NPI. We onboard you into our credentialed network, match you with insured patients, and run the back office. You set your own schedule, choose your clients, and deliver care on your terms.

What You Bring

Active, unrestricted psychology license (PhD or PsyD)
Current credentialing with Aetna, Blue Shield and/or Cigna (preferred)
Experience working with children and adolescents
Ability to practice via telehealth in your licensed state(s)
Malpractice insurance (we can help you find coverage if needed)
A genuine interest in seeing insured patients without dealing with the admin yourself
