Electrical & Mechanical Assembly Technician

Location: Rancho Cordova, CAJob Type: Full-time after 90-day training/probation period (on-site)

We're looking for an Assembly Technician who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and understands that the quality of every connection, every fastener, and every assembly directly impacts the experience our customers have on the water.

The Role

This is a hands-on position focused on precision mechanical assembly and low-voltage electrical work. You'll build sub-assemblies, wire control systems, make reliable electrical connections, and help keep production moving while maintaining the high quality standards our customers expect.

The work itself isn't complicated—but it demands consistency, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship. We need technicians who believe that if something is worth building, it's worth building right.

You'll work alongside a small, dedicated production team in an environment where quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement are valued every day.

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical components and production sub-assemblies
Perform low-voltage electrical wiring and control panel assembly
Crimp terminals and connectors to specification
Solder electrical connections cleanly and reliably when required
Use a multimeter to perform continuity, voltage, and basic electrical verification
Follow assembly procedures, torque specifications, and quality standards
Inspect your work to ensure assemblies meet our quality expectations before moving to the next stage
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Identify and communicate defective components or process issues before they become larger problems
Help the production team meet delivery goals as we work through our current customer backlog

Qualifications

Comfortable using common hand and power tools
Experience crimping and soldering low-voltage electrical connections
Ability to use a multimeter for basic electrical testing and troubleshooting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to follow written instructions and standardized assembly procedures
Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive assembly work throughout the shift

Experience in electronics assembly, control panel wiring, small electric motors, marine systems, automotive electrical, or similar mechanical/electrical assembly is highly valued, but we're equally interested in people with the right attitude and a desire to learn.
