Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in the Greater Sacramento area. The Video Editor will work closely with the creative team organizing and logging media, editing video sequences, applying basic color correction, and integrating graphics and motion elements to support the narrative. The role also involves managing project files, maintaining version control, and preparing deliverables in the required formats and specifications. The Video Editor will collaborate in review sessions, incorporate feedback efficiently, and help ensure projects are completed on time and aligned with client expectations and brand standards. Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years video editing experience
- Strong video editing skills, including assembling narratives, pacing, audio integration, and export workflows.
- Experience in video production processes, file formats, and post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in video color grading, with the ability to enhance visual style and maintain consistency across shots.
- Hands-on experience with motion graphics and graphics, including compositing titles, lower thirds, animations.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and a commitment to high production standards.
- Relevant education or training in video editing, motion graphics, digital media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Legally eligible to work in United States
Benefits: Starting Salary Range $85k - $95k annually dependent on experience
