In this role, you'll own content and organic growth: what we produce, how we distribute it, and how we turn it into traffic and leads. What You'll Own:

Organic growth — search and AI visibility as one owned outcome: rankings, AI mentions, traffic, and leads.
SEO / AEO — keyword and topic research, search intent, on-page optimization, ranking performance, and getting MOD cited in Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and other answer engines.
Content strategy — what we publish, for whom, and why. You set the plan, own the roadmap, and defend it with reasoning.
Content calendar — own the publishing schedule across blog, social, and YouTube, hitting the growth and engagement goals set for each channel.
Long-form writing — problem-led, outcome-driven blog posts, guides, reports, and e-books that rank, build credibility, and get read to the end.
Email marketing — newsletters, sequences, and campaign copy.
Website, landing pages, and sales enablement — messaging that converts, plus the case studies, one-pagers, and stories the sales team leans on.
Measurement and iteration — track what works, double down, kill what doesn't, and report on traffic, engagement, and pipeline contribution.

What We're Looking for:

Report directly to the Vice President of Marketing, with a short line to decisions and real say in the plan.
Lead our graphic designer and video producer — you set the creative direction, they build with you.
Don’t wait for information or direction. Bring recommendations and get alignment. You’ll get context and goals rather than orders.
Closely monitor the data — rankings, AI mentions, traffic, leads, etc.
Build systems and use AI to draft, research, and repurpose faster, then apply your judgment and voice.
Manage freelancers and contractors as we scale volume beyond what one person can write.

Required Experience:

3+ years of B2B content marketing experience, owning outcomes rather than just output.
A track record in organic growth — you’ve grown search traffic and can point to the work that did it.
SEO expertise — keyword research, search intent, on-page optimization, and technical fundamentals.
AEO curiosity — you understand how AI answer engines pick sources or you’re hungry to learn more and become an expert.
Problem-led writing — samples that sell an outcome, not a feature list.
Comfort with the tools — GA4, Search Console, and an SEO platform like Ahrefs or Semrush. You find answers yourself.
Strategic instinct — you can look at a business and say what content it needs, and defend the choice.
Hands-on AI experience and genuine enthusiasm to learn more — you see it as leverage.
Self-direction — you prioritize, plan, and ship at a high standard without being micro-managed.
A degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
