Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Correctional Food Manager II (CFM II) and/or Assistant Correctional Food Manager (ACFM), the Office Technician (OT) is responsible for regularly performing a variety of difficult clerical support duties and is expected to consistently exercise a high degree of initiative, independence, and originality in performing assigned tasks. Implements knowledge of standard office equipment and computer skills. The OT is directly responsible for the supervision of the inincarcerated clerk, with assistance from the ACFM.

Limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).

The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section). You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired.
