Part-Time Mobile Phlebotomist – Sacramento Region
Job Summary

Lemedix is seeking a dependable and compassionate Part-Time Mobile Phlebotomist to support healthcare facilities throughout the Sacramento region. In this field-based role, you will travel to assigned facilities to perform blood collections, handle specimens, and provide excellent patient care while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely laboratory services.

This position is ideal for an experienced phlebotomist who enjoys working independently in a mobile healthcare environment.

Work Location

Primary Service Area: Sacramento Region
Home Lab: 5757 Sonoma Dr., Suite A, Pleasanton, CA 94566

Schedule

Part-Time
Monday–Friday
PM shifts
Weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities

Travel to assigned healthcare facilities using your personal vehicle.
Perform venipuncture and other specimen collections using proper phlebotomy techniques.
Label, process, and transport specimens while maintaining chain of custody.
Follow infection control, safety, and laboratory protocols.
Provide professional and compassionate patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation and specimen records.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, laboratory staff, and facility personnel.
Maintain equipment and supplies in accordance with company standards.
Perform other mobile healthcare duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Active California CPT Phlebotomy License (Required)
Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience (Required)
Strong venipuncture and specimen handling skills
Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards
Hospital or clinical experience preferred
Reliable personal vehicle with a valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to travel between multiple facilities throughout the day
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required
