Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Sales Representative to help grow our business in the

commercial and municipal sectors.

In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, promoting shade solution products and installation services, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. In addition, it involves identifying customer needs, conducting site visits, reading plans, preparing preliminary estimates, and coordinating with the manufacturing and installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

· Identify and pursue new commercial, and municipal customers through internal lead and self-generation efforts, while proactively engaging prospective clients and re-establishing relationships with former customers to drive business growth.

Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and marketing campaigns.
Conduct client meetings and site visits to assess project requirements.
Present shade solution products, designs, and installations to customers.
Read plans and perform takeoffs of sizes and quantities.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals, estimates, and contracts.
Negotiate pricing and terms within company guidelines.
Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into sales.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after project completion.
Address customer concerns and coordinate solutions with relevant departments.
Maintain accurate records in Contractor Foreman of customer interactions and sales activities.

Project Coordination

Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Communicate customer specifications, timelines, and special requests in contract with team members.
Monitor project progress and keep customers informed of updates.
Ensure smooth handover of completed projects and collect customer feedback.

Market Research

Assist marketing to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
Recommend new products or services based on customer demand.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events when required.

Reporting

Maintain sales records in Contractor Foreman.
Prepare for weekly open sales (operations) and installation meetings in addition to bimonthly sales meetings.
Track sales targets, revenue, and pipeline activities.

Qualifications

High school diploma, or bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering or a related field.
Previous sales experience in exterior shade systems, construction materials, metal/aluminum products, or related industries preferred.
Construction background is preferred.
Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to understand technical product specifications and installation requirements.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Knowledge of Contractor Foreman or similar software is preferred.
Self-motivated and target driven.
Problem-solving and customer service skills.

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
