Full Job Description

Our multi-award winning agency is seeking an Insurance Sales and Service Representative to join our team!

You will service and cross sell Farmers and non-Farmers insurance products, resolve customer inquiries, and offer solutions.

This role services existing and new clients, generates new business proposals to drive company revenue and grow and maximize customer retention.

For the right candidate, we will invest in training you to help you unlock your full potential. Successful candidates will grow and advance through this position and be able to build a rewarding insurance career.

As an insurance professional you will be able to earn uncapped income with the flexibility of personal time off and clients that will last a lifetime.

We seek a licensed candidate with at least two years of customer service and or insurance experience. Farmers Insurance experience is a bonus (Hourly pay correlates to related experience).

Local, Sacramento region and greater area candidates are encouraged to apply. This position is based in El Dorado Hills (close to Hwy 50) and being present and in the office is required. Out of state candidates are not being considered at this time.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

· Categorize, prioritize, answer and follow up on emails and answer phones for customers ensuring a positive experience with every interaction.

· Prospect potential customers to generate new business (referrals/cross-sells/new leads).

· Retention of existing clients through insurance strategy optimization/premium minimization, and knowledge of competitive landscape and competitor offerings.

· Coordinate daily appointments, phone meetings, annual policy reviews for agent.

· Resolve customer inquiries and concerns in an orderly and timely fashion.

· Maintain required insurance licenses in good standing.

Licensed Duties Include:

· Generate insurance proposals, quotes, pricing, and other information to prospective and existing clients.

· Assess client needs and advise clients on coverages or products.

· Develop and maintain relationships with clients and business partners in community.

· Receive and/respond to all client service/support needs and/or inquiries in a timely fashion.

· Offer and sell company solutions, services and follow-up routinely with clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Property & Casualty license (Required or must have within first 30 days of hire). Life, Health, & Accident License (Preferred or must have within 90 days of hire).

· Confident, self-starter who works well independently.

· Deadline oriented with the ability to multi-task.

· Highly organized with ability to track multiple details (using our online tracking systems) and see through all task resolutions and follow-ups.

· Strong computer skills, organizational skills and time management.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Ability to build rapport with clients, partners and team members.

· Regular office hours: 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday - Friday

Our Farmers Insurance Agency offers auto, home, life, and commercial insurance solutions within Farmers Insurance Group of Companies. We broker risks that Farmers does not have appetite for. Weekly day range:

· Monday to Friday days, no evenings, no weekends (only on occasion for any special events).

· Office based. In-person, as a team member, working closely with team members

License/Certification:

· Insurance Producer License (P&C) (Required or within first 30 days)

· Life Insurance License (Required within first 90 days)
