Full Job Description

Job Summary

The Finance Manager will oversee all aspects of both dealership’s F&I operations (Woodland Motors & Woodland Ford) four days a week. This includes structuring deals for maximum profitability, ensuring compliance with lender and regulatory requirements, and delivering a first-class experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Present financing and insurance options to guests in a transparent and ethical manner
Collaborate with the sales team to structure vehicle purchase deals that align with lender guidelines and dealership goals
Submit credit applications to banks and financial institutions and secure competitive financing terms
Sell finance and insurance products such as extended warranties, GAP insurance, and vehicle protection plans
Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to F&I activities
Maintain strong relationships with lending partners and stay updated on current programs and rates
Review and audit F&I documents before final delivery to ensure accuracy and compliance
Train and mentor sales team on F&I processes and product knowledge
Meet or exceed monthly performance goals, including product penetration rates, PVR (per vehicle retailed), and guest satisfaction scores

Qualifications

Experience in automotive F&I or dealership finance roles (required)
Experience in e-contracting (required)
Ford and/or General Motors experience (preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
Knowledge of automotive financing, credit underwriting, and compliance best practices
Strong understanding of state and federal laws relating to vehicle sales and finance (e.g., Truth in Lending, Fair Credit Reporting, etc.)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with F&I software and DMS systems (e.g., Dealertrack)
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
