Opportunity Information:

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a Certified Nurse-Midwife to join our dynamic team in Davis, CA.

50% call & 50% clinic
The location has a care model that is team-based and offers Obstetrics and midwifery
Part of a collaborative practice that works with a larger group of midwives from a local FQHC
Currently birthing center has 6 birthing rooms, 2 with tubs, and expansion in the works to manage the community's needs
Opportunity for Fertility work

Qualifications:

2-years of experience as a certified nursing midwife in a clinical/hospital setting
Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing or related field
Completion of an accredited midwifery educational program. Certified by either the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) or the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM)
Appropriate state licensure
Basic Life Support (BSL) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
The ability to work under pressure
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and clinical assessment skills
Effective communication skills
Patient and compassionate
