Title: Program Coordinator
Status: Non-exempt, Full-time
Reports to: Chief Program Officer
THE POSITION
The Program Coordinator supports the implementation of PRO Youth’s prevention, wellness, youth development, leadership, and mentoring programs across school and community-based settings. This position coordinates program activities, facilitates curriculum, engages youth and community partners, and supports high-quality program delivery. The Program Coordinator will receive training across PRO Youth’s programs and service models to support consistent implementation, program growth, and organizational priorities. This role requires an adaptable, collaborative, and results-oriented individual who can build strong relationships, manage multiple priorities, and provide engaging, youth-centered programming that promotes wellness, connection, and positive youth development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Training Packaging & Creative Design
- Support the development, organization, and packaging of PRO Youth trainings and program offerings for internal and external delivery.
- Design polished and visually engaging training materials, including presentations, facilitator guides, participant materials, worksheets, one-pagers, program descriptions, and other training-related resources.
- Use Canva, PowerPoint, and similar design platforms to translate program and training content into professional, cohesive, and audience-appropriate materials.
- Work closely with the Chief Program Officer and Coordinator of Communications to organize content and develop complete training packages for PRO Youth’s Menu of Services.
- Maintain organized, current, and consistent training assets and resources.
- Collaborate with Communications and Advancement, as appropriate, to ensure program and training materials align with organizational branding and communication standards.
Training & Program Implementation
- Facilitate PRO Youth trainings, workshops, programs, and professional development across a variety of content areas.
- Learn and effectively deliver multiple PRO Youth curricula, training topics, program models, and service approaches.
- Prepare materials, technology, activities, participant resources, and logistics needed for successful delivery.
- Adapt facilitation and materials to meet the needs of youth, professionals, schools, community organizations, and other audiences.
- Support evaluation and continuous improvement through participant feedback, surveys, data collection, and implementation observations.
Partner & Training Coordination
- Build and maintain positive relationships with schools, community organizations, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Support partner conversations, presentations, and follow-up related to program and training opportunities.
- Coordinate training inquiries, scheduling, materials, participant resources, and implementation needs in collaboration with internal staff.
- Represent PRO Youth at meetings, trainings, events, and community engagements as assigned.
Program & Administrative Support
- Support implementation of multiple PRO Youth programs and service models through preparation, coordination, and effective delivery.
- Maintain accurate program and training calendars, records, materials, and documentation.
- Maintain timely communication through Teams, email, calendars, and agency systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen program and training implementation and quality.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with agency, district, and privacy requirements.
- Support special projects, events, and other organizational priorities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social services, psychology, public health, youth development, communications, graphic design, marketing, or a related field preferred; candidates close to completion will be considered.
- Minimum of two years of experience supporting youth programs, training, education, prevention, wellness, community-based services, communications, design, or related work preferred.
- Demonstrated experience creating professional visual materials using Canva or similar graphic design platforms required.
- Experience facilitating trainings, workshops, programs, or presentations with youth and/or adult audiences preferred.

- Create polished, visually engaging training packages, presentations, and program materials using strong graphic design principles.
- Translate program and training content into organized, accessible, and visually compelling materials.
- Learn and effectively implement multiple curricula, program models, training topics, and service approaches.
- Manage multiple projects, priorities, and timelines with strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with youth, schools, community partners, and internal teams.
- Work independently, take initiative, solve problems, and adapt effectively to changing needs.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Capable of providing Employment Eligibility Verification.
- Complete and pass background screening.
- Possess a Valid California Driver's license and evidence of insurance coverage.
- Maintain access to reliable transportation for daily regional travel to program sites.
- Regular TB screening.
- This role qualifies as a mandated reporter, training for which will be provided.

- This is sedentary work in an office setting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
LOCATION AND HOURS
Our typical business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. This position requires flexibility to meet organizational needs. Availability outside of standard hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required to support operations, events, or urgent matters. This position is based in our Sacramento offices with an expectation of regular in-person presence to support our team, operations, and program development.
