Position Summary

The Cath Lab Tech demonstrates critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Required Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Graduate of an accredited school or training program.

Maintains certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Maintains current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs.

Maintains current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs.

Minimum of one (1) year of experience

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of MGRMC staff, management, and providers.

An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management.

Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance.

Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.

Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.

Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.

Preferred Qualifications

3 years of experience

Maintains Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.

Previous Meditech experience or other related electronic records systems.
