We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing plastic/hand/reconstructive/cosmetic surgery, and aesthetic practice. This provider will work closely with our board-certified plastic surgeons to deliver exceptional patient care in both the clinic and surgical settings.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPatient Care
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Develop surgical and care plans in collaboration with the supervising physicians.
- Perform preoperative evaluations and surgical clearances as appropriate.
- Provide postoperative follow-up care and wound management.
- Diagnose and manage postoperative complications within scope of practice.
- Educate patients regarding procedures, treatment options, risks, benefits, recovery, and expectations.
- Document complete and accurate medical records in the electronic health record (EHR).
Assist in the management of patients undergoing:
- Breast reconstruction
- Breast augmentation
- Breast reduction
- Mastopexy
- Body contouring
- Abdominoplasty
- Liposuction
- Skin cancer reconstruction
- Facial reconstruction
- Scar revisions
- Hand surgery
- Minor office procedures
Responsibilities may include:
- Surgical first assisting
- Drain removal
- Suture and staple removal
- Dressing changes
- Splint application
- Wound debridement (within scope)
- Casting and splinting
- Fracture follow-up care
- Injection therapies
- Procedure assistance
May perform or assist with:
- Botox®/Dysport®
- Dermal fillers
- Biostimulatory injectables
- Laser treatments
- IPL

- ProFractional laser
- Chemical peels
- BiorePeel
- Microneedling

- Medical-grade skincare consultations
Surgical Support
- Assist surgeons in the operating room when appropriate.
- Round on postoperative surgical patients.
- Perform hospital and surgery center consultations.
- Collaborate with anesthesia, nursing, and surgical staff.
- Participate in postoperative call schedule.
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete timely and accurate documentation.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance.
- Follow OSHA and infection prevention standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist with prior authorizations and peer-to-peer reviews when clinically appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, medical assistants, and administrative personnel.
- Assist with staff education regarding clinical protocols.
- Maintain excellent communication with referring providers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and compassionate patient care.
QualificationsRequired
- Current Michigan NP or PA license in good standing.
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Current ACLS/BLS certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical judgment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with supervising physicians.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.

Aesthetic experience is welcomed but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to assist during surgical procedures.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to perform clinical procedures.
- Ability to lift and move up to a minimum of 25 pounds.

Reports To: Supervising Plastic Surgeons and Practice Administrator
Schedule: Monday–Friday with clinic, surgical, and hospital responsibilities as assigned. Occasional after-hours or on-call responsibilities may be required based on physician coverage.
