Full Job Description

Colonial Villa, a senior living community in Midland is seeking positive, responsible dining room servers.

Job Overview
The purpose of this position is to interact with our residents and ensure they have a great experience. Servers are responsible for positive resident interactions while serving residents in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our resident’s needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

General Responsibilities

· Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks.

· Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling resident needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.

· Prepare drinks for service to your customers table.

· Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.

· Filling in for absent staff as needed.

· Assisting with special events as needed.

· Greet all residents and guests warmly with an appropriate greeting.

· Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.

Job Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Previous serving experience preferred, not required.
Excellent oral communication skills required.
Positive interpersonal skills required.
