Position: Quality Analyst – PPAP, PPA and CIL
Level: P1, lateral

Position Overview:
Driveline is looking for an individual who has a passion for quality and drive to succeed. To be successful in this position, the candidate will be comfortable interacting with all facets of the business – including Product Engineering, Operations, Plant Engineering, Program Managers, GSM and Supplier Quality. Position will include PPAP, PPA and CIL (Change Implementation Leader) responsibilities. Looking for a candidate that has excellent written and verbal communication skills. The candidate should possess an understanding of compliance with ISO14001 and TS16949 standards.
Major Job Responsibilities:
Support weekly PDT meetings for new launches that require In-House, Supplier and Customer PPAP’s.
Submit and track all plant PPAP’s in Intelex and Customer Portals.
Work with Customer Supplier Quality Engineers to approve PPAP’s.
Work with Operations and Quality teams to communicate any Supplier issues to Nexteer SQE’s.
Input and track all Supplier complaints (formal and informal) in Intelex.
Input, Gather data and track Cost Recoveries in Intelex due to Supplier quality/delivery issues.
Work with Engineering to process ECR’s/DCN’s/ Internal Plant changes to issue Plant CN’s.
Provide summary and status of all Plant CN’s.
Interface with multiple disciplines (Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Purchasing and Customers).
Assure compliance to IATF/TS-16949 Standards within assigned areas.
Ensure readiness for all internal and external quality audits.
Qualifications:
Recommended bachelor's degree – Business or Engineering.
Experience working in a certified quality management system
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated high levels of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
Strong self-starting initiative and innovative attitude
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teamcenter and Intelex)
