Full Job Description

Overview
We have just opened as the very first Hyatt Select hotel in St. Louis! We are seeking individuals to support our vibrant team as a part-time Front Desk Agent (second shift) where you'll be the welcoming face of our establishment! In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in creating memorable experiences for our guests. Your customer service skills and hospitality expertise will shine as you assist with check-ins, provide information about our services, and ensure every guest feels valued and at home.

What you’ll do

Greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring a warm welcome upon arrival.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, providing seamless service to all guests.
Handle guest inquiries and requests with a positive attitude, ensuring satisfaction at every turn.
Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using
Conduct night audits to ensure all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly.
Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel services to enhance the guest experience.
Foster strong guest relations by addressing concerns swiftly and effectively.

Skills

Proven experience in customer service within the hospitality industry is desired.
Strong knowledge of hotel practices and front desk operations.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
Familiarity with night audit procedures to ensure financial accuracy.
Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in using phone systems.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for providing outstanding guest services that elevate the overall experience.
Previous hotel or resort experience is a plus!
