Happy Baby Night Nurses
Part-time | 10–15 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, starting at 9:00 a.m.
Pay: $18 per hour plus commission

About the Role

Happy Baby Night Nurses is seeking a confident, organized, and highly responsive sales professional to serve as the first point of contact for new families interested in our overnight newborn-care and nanny-placement services.

This is a part-time morning position requiring approximately two to three hours per day, five days per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as the company grows. The right candidate will be comfortable communicating by phone, text, and email and will understand that consistent, thoughtful follow-up is essential to converting inquiries into clients.

This is not a passive customer service role. You will be responsible for responding quickly, building trust with prospective families, identifying their night nurse or nanny needs, answering initial questions, and following each lead through a structured 14-day follow-up process.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to all new leads by phone, text, and email
Serve as the first point of contact for families interested in our services
Explain our services, process, pricing, and next steps clearly and professionally
Conduct follow-up outreach over a 14-day period for each qualified lead
Nurture families who are not yet ready to book
Schedule consultations and guide prospective clients toward the appropriate service
Maintain accurate notes and update lead activity in our CRM
Follow established sales scripts, workflows, and follow-up timelines
Communicate lead status and important updates to the internal team and care coordinators
Support inquiries for overnight newborn care, local nanny placement, and nationwide placement services
Meet response-time, follow-up, and conversion expectations

Schedule

Monday through Friday
Approximately two to three hours per day
Must be available to begin work at 9:00 a.m. each morning
Approximately 10–15 hours per week initially
Opportunity for the position and hours to expand based on performance and company growth

Compensation

$18 per hour

Commission is paid in addition to the hourly wage.

$25 commission for each overnight newborn-care lead that converts and books a minimum of three nights
Overnight-care commission increases to $50 per qualified conversion after 90 days
$100 commission for each nationwide placement booked
$50 commission for each part-time nanny placement
$100 commission for each full-time nanny placement

Qualifications

Previous experience in sales, lead follow-up, customer service, admissions, recruiting, hospitality, or a similar client-facing role
Comfortable making outbound calls and following up consistently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Warm, professional, and confident phone presence
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Able to follow a structured sales process without allowing leads to fall through the cracks
Comfortable discussing pricing and asking prospective clients to move forward
Able to communicate compassionately with pregnant and postpartum families
Reliable and consistently available during the required morning schedule
Comfortable learning and using a CRM, email platform, and business texting system

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is personable without being overly casual, persistent without being pushy, and able to build trust quickly with families. They understand that strong sales follow-up requires more than sending one email and waiting for a response. They take ownership of leads, communicate clearly, and are motivated by both helping families and achieving measurable results.

Experience in maternity care, childcare, nanny placement, healthcare, luxury services, or family-focused businesses is helpful but not required.
