Position Overview
Smile So Big Dental is seeking a creative and organized part-time Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist to manage the social media presence of our four dental practices.
This is a hands-on role responsible for the entire content process, from planning and capturing content to writing posts, obtaining approval, publishing content, and managing each practice’s social media pages. The person will regularly travel between our practices to record videos, take photos, and capture the people, culture, technology, services, and patient experiences that make each location unique.
This position will average approximately 20–30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the social media pages for each of our four dental practices
- Develop and maintain a consistent content calendar for every location
- Travel regularly between practices to capture original photos and videos
- Record doctors and team members for educational, promotional, recruiting, and behind-the-scenes content
- Edit short-form videos and photos into engaging, brand-consistent content
- Write captions and social media posts in each practice’s voice
- Coordinate with doctors, office leaders, and company leadership to obtain content approval
- Schedule and publish approved content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other applicable platforms
- Monitor published pages for comments, messages, reviews, and engagement requiring attention
- Create patient education, team spotlight, office culture, community, and service-related content
- Collect and properly document patient and team-member consent before publishing content
- Organize and maintain a searchable library of approved photos, videos, and marketing assets
- Provide website photos, videos, and other content as needed
- Track basic performance metrics and use the results to improve future content
- Coordinate filming schedules while minimizing disruption to patient care
- Maintain consistent branding and quality across all four practices
- Collaborate with leadership and outside marketing partners on campaigns and priorities
Qualifications
- Experience managing business social media accounts and creating digital content
- Strong video-editing, photo-editing, and copywriting skills
- Comfortable filming with professional cameras and smartphones
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and content-management tools
- Able to take a project from the initial idea through approval and publication
- Comfortable directing doctors and team members who may not be accustomed to appearing on camera
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple brands, calendars, and approval processes
- Willing and able to travel regularly between practice locations
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and consistently meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of major social media platforms and current content trends
Experience in healthcare, dentistry, multi-location businesses, or HIPAA-sensitive environments is preferred but not required.

Schedule and Travel
This is a part-time position averaging approximately 20–30 hours per week. Regular travel among all four Smile So Big Dental Group practices is required. Scheduling will include time at each location as well as time for editing, writing, approvals, scheduling, publishing, and page management.
Occasional flexibility may be needed for special events, community activities, or content opportunities outside normal business hours.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
