Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Postal Data Specialist to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage and maintain postal data records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across various systems. Your expertise will support our operations by handling data entry, database management, and administrative tasks with precision and enthusiasm. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to streamlined postal processes while honing your skills in data management. Some list processing in busier times will be required along with automating workflows in BCC.

Responsibilities

Enter, update, and verify postal data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Manage data collection tasks related to postal operations, including tracking mailings, deliveries, and inventory records.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize large datasets, and generate reports that support operational decision-making.
Perform data entry tasks with accuracy, maintaining meticulous records of all transactions.
Manage postal incentives and ensure clients are getting the best value for their postage.
Monitor the mailer scorecard and keep all thresholds in acceptable ranges.
Help manage client loyalty databases, update info in database.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with databases or similar data management tools.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel—and familiarity with pivot tables.
Excellent typing speed with high accuracy for data entry and transcription tasks.
Prior office or clerical experience involving filing, order processing, or administrative support.
Basic math skills for data verification and calculations related to postal operations.
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
