Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. This pivotal role combines culinary expertise with management skills to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality food service. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional food standards, managing staff, controlling inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences while maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
Oversee staff training and development, including onboarding new team members, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a positive team environment.
Implement and maintain food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff alike.
Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours while controlling labor costs.
Lead efforts in food production, catering, banquets, and special events to deliver exceptional service across all dining formats.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within casual dining environments.
Strong supervisory skills with previous supervising experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
Familiarity with inventory control techniques and food safety standards; certifications such as ServSafe are preferred.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management, training & development, and interviewing potential staff members.
Background in restaurant management or hospitality management with experience in managing COG's and Labor budgets, shift operations, and customer service excellence.
