Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator (Part-Time) to join our team and support our growing organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance management. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and passionate about fostering a positive workplace environment. As a key member of our HR department, you will help streamline HR processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic workforce initiatives to enhance overall organizational effectiveness.

Duties

Assist with talent acquisition efforts by supporting HR Recruiters in greeting candidates.
Assist if needed with employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated smoothly into the organization.
Support employee evaluation processes by gathering performance data, preparing documentation, and facilitating performance management initiatives.
Assist HR personnel as needed with answering questions regarding employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation claims, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with regulations.
Answer and route phones to the proper departments.
Organize and manage HR personnel's calendars and requests.
Create and manage birthday, anniversary and thank you cards.
Keeping track of employee tenure and dates of employment.
Taking new employee photos and processing access employee badges, activating and deactivating as necessary.
Order supplies and update employee records.
Assisting in all other HR related tasks as requested.

Experience

Proven experience in human resources management or an HR department environment with familiarity in personnel administration and employee relations.
Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance standards, and regulatory requirements affecting workforce management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data analysis skills essential)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while fostering positive employee engagement.
Experience in project coordination related to benefits administration, workforce planning, or organizational change initiatives is highly desirable.
Prior administrative experience supporting HR functions such as data entry, contract management.
