Full Job Description

Position Summary:

The Member Experience Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring a positive, professional, and engaging experience for members, consumers, and visitors of the St. Augustine & St. Johns County Board of REALTORS®. This position serves as the primary front-desk presence, welcomes and directs everyone entering the building, responds to inquiries, and is responsible for membership coordination, onboarding, ongoing engagement, and day-to-day member and office support.

Key Responsibilities:

Member Onboarding & Engagement

Manage the onboarding process for new members, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries and support.
Oversee the membership process, including applications, renewals, and compliance with association requirements.
Ensure members meet eligibility criteria and maintain required documentation.
Track membership status and follow up on outstanding requirements or issues.
Monitor member satisfaction and implement initiatives to enhance the overall member experience.
Collaborate with the Education & Events Manager to conduct orientation sessions and provide resources to help new members integrate into the association.
Collaborate with other departments to maintain accurate and up-to-date member records.

Front Desk, Member & Consumer Services

Provide consistent front-desk coverage during normal business hours and serve as the first point of contact for members, consumers, vendors, and other visitors.
Warmly greet each person entering the building, determine the purpose of the visit, and promptly direct or escort them to the appropriate staff member, meeting, class, or resource.
Answer and route incoming telephone calls and shared email inquiries; provide accurate general information and ensure messages and unresolved requests receive timely follow-up.
Assist members and consumers with routine questions about association services, membership, education, events, forms, and publicly available real estate resources, while referring legal, ethical, licensing, or specialized matters to the appropriate authority.
Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional reception area; keep displays, visitor materials, signage, and supplies current; and receive and route mail, deliveries, and packages.
Use sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential member information, payments, complaints, or sensitive interactions, and escalate urgent or complex concerns appropriately.

Event Collaboration

Partner with the Education & Events Manager to plan, promote, and execute member-focused events and educational programs.
Support event logistics, communications, and post-event follow-up to ensure high-quality experiences.

General Office & Team Support

Maintain current knowledge of association programs, policies, calendars, staff responsibilities, and community resources to provide accurate and consistent service.
Document member and consumer interactions, requests, and follow-up items in the appropriate systems so issues are resolved and service trends can be identified.
Provide cross-functional administrative support and front-desk backup for meetings, events, classes, and special projects as assigned.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
