24/7 Flexographic Printing & Flexible Packaging
Flexographic or Shrink Sleeve Printing experience is essential.
We're recruiting for an experienced Plant Manager to lead a high-speed printing and flexible packaging manufacturing operation.
This is an excellent opportunity to take full ownership of a 24/7 manufacturing facility, driving safety, production, quality and continuous improvement while leading a high-performing operations team.
What You'll Do
- Lead all day-to-day plant operations across production, scheduling, inventory, shipping and maintenance
- Develop and lead production, supervisory and administrative teams
- Deliver production schedules while meeting quality and customer delivery targets
- Monitor KPIs including productivity, waste, labour efficiency and operating costs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
- Oversee quality systems and finished product standards
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory requirements
- Lead root cause investigations and resolve production issues
- Support new equipment installations and process improvements
- Prepare operational reports for senior leadership
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years' manufacturing leadership experience in a Plant Manager or Operations Manager role
- Experience within flexographic printing or shrink sleeve printing is essential
- Background in printing, flexible packaging or a similar high-speed manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, people management and continuous improvement experience
- Knowledge of MRP systems, production planning and inventory control
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations or a related field preferred
