MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently.
Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a Level II background check and drug test.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Administrative and/or clerical experience working in an office environment.
Experience creating documents, maintaining files, and keeping records.
Experience in human resources and/or working with confidential employee information and/or data.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position reports to the Nursing Home Administrator and provides professional Administrative Support, to Human Resources, Medical Records, and other Administrative Offices within the State Veteran Nursing Home.
Communicate with others to obtain and verify information.
Follow written and verbal directions and instructions.
Maintain a positive approach and strong work ethic.
Problem solving and effective decision making.
Work independently, exercise judgment with self-discipline, and take appropriate initiative.
Perform other related duties as required.
This position is in the Other Personnel Services (OPS) system.
