Full Job Description

Overview

realMLS is seeking an innovative, strategic Data & AI Insights leader to help advance the organization’s data-driven capabilities.

This role will develop and manage a scalable architecture for accessing and integrating data from multiple API sources. The position will also lead the use of artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics to turn data into actionable market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Integrate MLS and third-party data sources through APIs creating an accessible data source for reporting, analytics, and product development.
Use AI and predictive analytics to automate analysis and identify trends to generate insights for the local housing market.
Deliver dashboard, reports, and services into clear insights for real estate professionals, brokers, and consumers.
Advance realMLS’s data modernization strategy and work flows through automation, AI, and cloud-based analytics.
Partner with internal teams to deliver dashboards, reports, and provide leadership with data-driven recommendations on market trends, product strategy, and customer needs.
Support market expansion, new data offerings, and other strategic initiatives.
Serve as a trusted advisor on data, analytics, and AI.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
Experience in data analytics, data engineering, or AI/ML roles
Hands-on experience working with APIs (REST/JSON), including data ingestion and integration
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (or similar languages)
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Experience launching AI tools to coordinate work flows
Experience implementing AI solutions to support business decision-making
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
Strong strategic mindset with the ability to align data initiatives to business goals
Exceptional storytelling skills—translating complex data into clear insights
