Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Italian Cuisine Chef to join our culinary team in Ponte Vedra Beach.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in authentic and modern Italian cuisine, excellent leadership skills, and a high standard for food quality, presentation, consistency, and kitchen operations. We are looking for someone who can bring creativity and expertise while maintaining a refined dining experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and execution of high-quality Italian dishes
Develop and refine seasonal Italian-inspired menu items
Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, portioning, and quality
Manage daily kitchen operations and supervise culinary staff
Train and develop BOH team members
Maintain food cost, inventory, ordering, and waste control
Ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization
Work closely with ownership and management on menu development and overall culinary direction
Maintain high standards during busy service periods

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of professional Italian cuisine experience
Previous experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Sous Chef preferred
Strong knowledge of traditional and contemporary Italian cooking techniques
Experience with fresh pasta, sauces, seafood, meats, and seasonal ingredients preferred
Fine dining or upscale restaurant experience strongly preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to maintain consistency and attention to detail in a high-volume environment
Must be reliable, professional, and passionate about hospitality
