Kitchen Manager – High-Volume Seafood & Sushi Restaurant

We’re looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead the culinary team at one of our high-volume, seafood concepts featuring a high end sushi team and a full-service bar. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and isn’t afraid to jump on the line when needed.

As a growing hospitality group with multiple concepts and new locations on the horizon, we’re searching for motivated leaders who are excited about building teams, developing talent, and growing their careers alongside our company.

What You’ll Do

● Lead daily back-of-house operations while maintaining exceptional food quality and consistency.

● Work every station on the kitchen line and assist during peak service periods.

● Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new kitchen team members.

● Build and maintain a positive, accountable, and high-performing kitchen culture.

● Create and manage employee schedules based on business needs and labor goals.

● Monitor food costs, inventory, ordering, receiving, and waste control.

● Ensure all health department, food safety, and sanitation standards are consistently met.

● Coach and mentor team members while providing ongoing training and performance feedback.

● Work closely with front-of-house management to ensure an outstanding guest experience.

● Assist in developing new menu items, seasonal features, and operational improvements.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has

● Previous Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or culinary management experience in a high-volume restaurant.

● Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop others.

● Experience hiring, training, scheduling, and retaining kitchen staff.

● Knowledge of inventory management, food ordering, cost controls, and labor management.

● Excellent communication and organizational skills.

● The ability to remain calm and lead effectively in a fast-paced environment.

● A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to lead from the front.

● Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
