Full Job Description

We are seeking a Full-time Salon Manager to join our team. The primary hours for this position are Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. If you are passionate about leading a team and ensuring an exceptional guest experience, we’d love to continue reading.

As an Salon Manager of C’zar Salon Spa, you are a highly motivated and responsible individual looking to grow your career within a creative and fast-paced environment. We are a well-established company with a solid reputation that holds very high standards for the way we represent ourselves, our culture, and the products and services we provide. You will act as upper management’s right-hand. Interpersonal and organizational skills are a must, since you’ll be acting as liaison between managers, employees and customers. Your role’s ultimate purpose is to ensure the salon runs effectively, our customers are happy, and to uphold 5-star customer service and talent standards. This role will require leadership qualities, constant attention to detail and time management.

Salon Manager responsibilities include training and supervising support staff and service providers, monitoring inventory and ordering supplies based on demand, among others. You will be directly reporting to the General Manager or Salon Owners on a daily basis. You will be required to demonstrate adequate problem-solving skills and conflict resolution. Our ideal candidate would have strong leadership and retail management skills with a sharp business mindset, is a forward thinker, and has strong multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

Actively maintain a position as Salon Coordinator.
Assist in the planning and implementing strategies to attract customers
Coordinate daily customer appointment arrangements and modifications if necessary
Monitor and maintain store inventory and retail display arrangements and cleanliness
Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs
Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best
Disciplining Employees for Misconduct
Designating tasks for staff and yourself
Coach and support new and existing staff
Monitor retail operating costs, budgets and resources
Suggest sales training programs and techniques
Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs
Analyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioning
Handle complaints from customers in a timely and effective manner
Conduct regular checks to ensure all areas are functional and presentable
Make sure all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines
Act as our store’s representative and set an example for our staff
Aid in preparation for special events within the salon
Reporting any required maintenance to direct Manager
Supply Ordering Preparation
Vendor Ordering Preparation
Inventory Control (Prep every Saturday/Monday)
Customer Service/Relations (Handle → If not satisfied, pass to upper management)
Taking detailed client notes, assigning follow-ups & tasks, to maintain customer relationship
Handling donation requests and maintaining a monthly allotted budget
Email communication with co-managers and owners weekly
Conducting daily huddles for staff information update
Aiding with new product launch or campaign execution
Actively listening to Aveda marketing webinars & relaying information to team
Key-holding and distribution of staff cash gratuities
Attending weekly or bi-weekly huddles with direct manager
