Full Job Description

The Operations & Training Coordinator is responsible for developing and delivering training programs, creating and maintaining training documentation, supporting employee onboarding, and assisting with select HR administrative processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring employees receive the knowledge, resources, and support needed to perform successfully while helping maintain consistent documentation and training standards across the organization.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and an exceptional communicator who can effectively manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively with employees at all levels.

Training

Develop, update, and maintain training materials, including reference guides, job aids, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and "how-to" documentation.
Design and deliver engaging instructor-led training sessions, both in person and virtually (Zoom or other online platforms).
Coordinate and support the rollout of new processes, systems, tools, and organizational initiatives through effective training.
Train new hires as well as existing employees on new procedures, software, and operational updates.
Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to training programs and materials.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

Create, organize, and maintain training documentation and knowledge resources.
Ensure training materials remain current, accurate, and accessible.
Assist with documentation management related to training and HR processes.
Maintain version control and standardized formatting for instructional materials.

Onboarding & HR Support

Create, manage, and monitor onboarding checklists for new hires.
Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and consistent employee experience.
Assist with new hire paperwork and onboarding documentation.
Support designated HR administrative processes and maintain confidentiality of employee information.
Partner with HR and department leaders to ensure onboarding milestones are completed.

Systems Support

Perform basic system administration tasks as assigned.
Assist with user setup, access requests, and system-related documentation.
Support implementation and adoption of new systems and technologies through training and documentation.
Track training completion records and maintain related reporting.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding time management and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to present information clearly and confidently to groups and individuals.
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field.
Experience in training and development, instructional design, onboarding, human resources, documentation management, or project management.
Experience coordinating new hire onboarding or HR onboarding processes.
Experience developing instructional materials, job aids, reference guides, and process documentation.
Experience facilitating instructor-led and virtual training sessions.
Experience supporting software implementations or process improvement initiatives.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), HRIS platforms, or document management systems is a plus.
