Full Job Description

Purpose: The Residential Manager provides leadership and oversight for Individualized Supported Living and Host Home services, ensuring individuals receive high-quality, person-centered support while promoting staff success, regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee daily operations of the ISL and Host Home programs and ensure high-quality, person-centered services.

· Supervise, support, coach, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals and Lead DSPs.

· Develop and maintain staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing coverage.

· Monitor compliance with agency policies, Medicaid requirements, DMH regulations, and licensing standards.

· Conduct home visits, quality assurance reviews, and documentation audits.

· Coordinate admissions, transitions, and discharges as needed.

· Maintain communication with individuals served, family members, guardians, support coordinators, and community partners.

· Ensure implementation of ISP goals, behavior support plans, and health and safety protocols.

· Investigate and follow up on incidents, complaints, and concerns.

· Coordinate staff training and professional development.

· Monitor household operations, including supplies, budgeting, and maintenance needs.

· Support crisis intervention and problem-solving while providing leadership to staff.

· Assist with strategic growth and development of ISL services.

· Provide direct support coverage only when necessary during emergencies or when all other staffing options have been exhausted and be available to provide support to staff as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· Bachelor degree required

· Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance required.

· Ability to pass criminal background checks, Family Care Safety Registry screening, and any other screenings required by state regulations.

· Ability to obtain and maintain certification in CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, and other required trainings.

· Ability to complete all required agency orientation and ongoing training requirements.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and agency confidentiality policies.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in supporting individuals in community and home settings.

· Ability to accurately complete documentation and maintain records.

· Ability to safely assist individuals with mobility, transfers, and personal care needs as required by the individual's support plan.

· Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with supporting individuals.

· Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.

· Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred but not required.

· Demonstrated commitment to treating individuals with dignity, respect, and person-centered values.
