Full Job Description

Gwinnett Institute in Orlando, Florida is seeking an Evening Ultrasound Technician Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of ultrasound courses to students in our Ultrasound Technician Program during the evenings.

Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality ultrasound courses to students in a classroom setting
Providing hands-on instruction and supervision in ultrasound labs
Developing course content and teaching materials
Preparing and grading assignments, tests, and exams
Maintaining accurate student records and tracking student progress
Staying current with advances in ultrasound technology and teaching methods
Providing academic advising to students as needed

Requirements:

Current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an ultrasound technician
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to teach and mentor students effectively
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient in using instructional technology and learning management systems
