Compensation$32.00–$38.00 per hour
Compensation is based on experience, skill level, productivity, and overall knowledge of residential construction.

Position Summary
The Skilled Carpenter / Framer will perform a broad range of residential construction tasks from foundation through finish. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on both new construction and remodeling projects and possesses the knowledge and craftsmanship necessary to produce high-quality work with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
- Layout and construct structural wall framing
- Build floor framing systems
- Roof framing and truss installation
- Install engineered lumber (LVLs and beams)
- Install wall and roof sheathing
- Install structural hardware and hurricane connectors
- Frame interior partitions
- Build stair systems
- Install windows and exterior doors
- Install interior doors
- Drywall hanging
- Drywall finishing and texture matching
- Install interior trim
- Baseboards
- Door and window casing
- Crown molding (preferred)
- Cabinet installation
- Install hardware and accessories
- Flooring installation
- Minor demolition
- Punch-out work
- Site preparation
- Material handling
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Operate power tools safely
- Coordinate daily activities with the Superintendent and Project Manager
- Complete projects safely, efficiently, and with exceptional quality
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of residential construction experience
- Strong structural framing experience
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
- Experience with residential additions and remodels
- Knowledge of Florida residential construction methods
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Own basic hand tools
- Strong work ethic
- Positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather
