Full Job Description

If you are looking for a fun and energetic team to grow with, look no further! The Federal Injury Center is an expanding injury center that specializes in working with federal workers. The employees of Ice and Border Control, USPS, VA, TSA are just a few of the departments we work with.

In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to federal employees who have sustained work-related injuries, ensuring timely and appropriate medical evaluation, treatment, and support throughout their recovery process.

Our ideal candidate is confident and comfortable being independent. We are not looking for an individual who is just looking for their next "job" but someone who wants to invest in a career to help patients get back to their full potential. We will consider new graduates.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess injuries, manage treatment plans, and ensure compliance with federal workers’ compensation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive medical evaluations of patients with work-related injuries.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with our physician, physical therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory and legal standards.
Assist in the review and management of injury claims and required federal documentation (e.g., OWCP forms).
Provide patient education regarding injury care, prevention, and follow-up protocols.

Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of Utah.
Graduation from an accredited PA program and NCCPA certification.
Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic abilities, and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
