Description

This contract, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our medical practice, providing exceptional care to our patients while working closely with a dedicated team of professionals in a dynamic environment.

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and interpreting medical imaging, ensuring accurate results that impact patient treatment plans. This position not only enhances your clinical expertise but also allows you to engage in diverse cases that elevate your professional experience within the medical industry.

Responsibilities

Perform and interpret various imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
Develop and implement diagnostic protocols
Communicate findings clearly to referring physicians
Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation
Stay updated on the latest radiological technologies and procedures
Provide education and training to residents and medical students
Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

MD degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification in Radiology
1-3 years of clinical experience as a radiologist
Proficiency in advanced imaging techniques and interpretations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Schedule: 7 on/7 off

Setting: Remote

Emergency department and inpatient caseload

Case Volume: 7 per hour

Must be board-certified

Paid travel and expenses
