Job Overview

We’re on the lookout for a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Bar Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you’ll be the face of our bar, creating a welcoming atmosphere while delivering top-notch beverage and food service. Your enthusiasm for guest relations, combined with your knowledge of drinks and food industry standards, will help ensure every guest has an exceptional experience. Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit, ensuring a memorable experience.
Take beverage and food orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently.
Mix and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks or appetizers to enhance sales and guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar station before and after shifts, including restocking supplies as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders, supporting overall restaurant operations.
Handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service to foster guest relations and repeat business.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions processing.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills.
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous but not required.
