Outreach Education serves a growing network of public charter schools and private Christian schools across Northeast Florida and Upstate South Carolina. We are seeking a rare blend of a creative storyteller and a data-driven growth marketer to serve as our Social Media Strategist and Content Manager. The ideal candidate is equally passionate about creating compelling content and analyzing performance data to drive measurable enrollment growth.
This role is responsible for developing content that not only engages audiences but also generates inquiries, campus tours, applications, staff recruitment leads, and long-term brand loyalty. The successful candidate will leverage audience insights, analytics, and strategic messaging to optimize enrollment, recruitment, retention, and brand awareness efforts while maintaining distinct and compelling brand voices across multiple school networks.
Content Strategy and Brand Management

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that supports enrollment, retention, recruitment, and brand awareness goals.

Maintain distinct brand voices for public charter schools (communityfocused, tuitionfree choice) and private Christian schools (missiondriven, valuesbased).

Build and manage an integrated editorial calendar aligned with admissions priorities, enrollment campaigns, school events, academic milestones, celebrations, fundraising initiatives, and recruitment efforts.

Establish and maintain social media guidelines, brand standards, and contributor resources to ensure consistency across all campuses.

Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, shortform video best practices, and parentfocused digital marketing strategies.
The Art: Content Creation and Copywriting

Transform daily campus experiences into compelling digital stories that showcase student achievement, school culture, and mission impact.

Create highperforming Reels, TikToks, Stories, and static content designed to increase family engagement, tour registrations, and enrollment applications.

Capture and communicate authentic moments that strengthen brand trust and community connection.

Write clear, persuasive, and conversionfocused organic social media copy tailored to distinct audiences across public charter and private Christian school networks.

Align messaging with paid digital advertising campaigns and broader enrollment marketing initiatives.

Develop compelling callstoaction that guide prospective families through the enrollment journey from awareness to inquiry, tour scheduling, and application.

Ensure all messaging reflects organizational values while supporting measurable enrollment objectives.

Manage a continuous flow of content from campusbased contributors across multiple locations.

Curate, edit, organize, and enhance submitted content while maintaining brand consistency, visual quality, and professional standards.

Ensure content remains timely, missionaligned, and strategically focused on organizational goals.

Partner with Human Resources and school leadership teams to showcase staff culture, professional development opportunities, mission impact, and employee success stories.

Support educator recruitment efforts through strategic storytelling and employer branding initiatives.

Highlight workplace culture, teacher success stories, and organizational values to attract toptier talent.

Monitor comments, messages, tags, and online reviews across all platforms.

Engage with families, staff, prospective employees, and community members in a professional and timely manner.

Escalate sensitive concerns appropriately to protect organizational reputation and ensure effective communication.
The Science: Analytics and Optimization

Track, analyze, and interpret native platform metrics using Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics, and website traffic reporting tools.

Measure lead quality, conversion performance, engagement trends, and enrollmentrelated outcomes.

Monitor the effectiveness of social media efforts throughout the enrollment funnel.

Utilize tracking links, UTM parameters, and campaign attribution methods to evaluate performance.
A/B Testing and Performance Insights

Move beyond surfacelevel engagement metrics by evaluating which creative approaches drive meaningful conversion actions.

Conduct ongoing testing of content formats, messaging strategies, creative hooks, video styles, posting schedules, and copy variations.

Use data to identify and replicate content that generates the highest number of inquiries, tours, and applications.

Continuously optimize content based on measurable outcomes rather than vanity metrics.

Provide regular reports and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

Translate analytics into actionable insights that improve enrollment marketing performance.

Demonstrate the relationship between social media activity, lead generation, and enrollment outcomes through measurable reporting.

Present monthly and quarterly performance summaries with recommendations for improvement.

Coordinate and provide social media coverage for school events, student showcases, celebrations, open houses, enrollment events, graduations, and other key initiatives.

Occasionally attend evening or weekend events as needed to support organizational priorities.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum of three (3) years of social media management experience, preferably in education, nonprofit organizations, missiondriven institutions, or multilocation brands.

Demonstrated success in content strategy, copywriting, brand storytelling, shortform video creation, and community engagement.

Proven ability to use analytics and performance data to drive measurable business, enrollment, recruitment, or leadgeneration outcomes.

Strong understanding of enrollment marketing funnels, customer journeys, and conversionfocused digital marketing strategies.

Ability to balance a faithbased voice for Christian school audiences while maintaining an inclusive and communitycentered tone for public charter school audiences.

Excellent project management, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and fastpaced deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, Business, or a related field preferred.

Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Expertlevel comfort with creative production tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite) and social data platforms (Meta Business Suite Analytics, Google Analytics, digital tracking/UTM building).

Experience creating mobilefirst content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging platforms.

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt messaging based on audience, school type, and campaign objectives.

Photography, videography, and content capture experience preferred.

Experience collaborating with admissions, enrollment, human resources, paid media teams, or school leadership strongly preferred.
This position is based at Outreach Education headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida and requires regular travel to campuses and events throughout Northeast Florida and occasional travel to South Carolina campuses as needed.
The role involves ongoing collaboration with marketing, admissions, human resources, and school leadership teams and may occasionally require evening or weekend event coverage.
