Job Description – Document Retention Specialist
The Document Retention Specialists' primary role is to preserve other business organization’s mission critical documentation, by means of digitizing paper infrastructures. The job duties include but are not limited to: prepping documentation to be scanned, scanning in documentation, reassembly of documentation, shredding of documentation. This role in our organization carries our mission statement forward by securing our client’s most critical documentation from disaster. We create more efficient and secure document workflows for business and government organizations. The Document Retention Specialist follows the direction and reports to the appointed Document Retention team managing member; however, they will need to have the skill to operate with little-or-no direction in a fast-paced work environment for daily results. A team based focus and attention to detail are the keys to this position's success and advancement.
Skills Needed –
· Attention to detail
· Fluent in Microsoft Office packages (mainly Word and Excel)
· Familiarity with Adobe PDF reader
· Comfortable and fluid with computers and other tech such as scanners, printers, shredders, etc.
· Willingness to achieve results beyond our client organizational goals
· Ability to not just discover a problem, but find a solution
· Creativity is wanted and valued
· Strong Communication skills both verbally and written

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
