Altec is currently looking for Procurement Support Associate in St. Joseph, MO. In this role you will prepare and process purchase orders, resolve invoices, communicate with suppliers, and collaborate with material teams across Altec Inc.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, in lieu of experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4 years applicable experience.
Microsoft Office suite experience required.
Knowledge of supply chain principles and concepts required.
Oracle/ERP system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Transactions for Inventory Management (Kanban, Packing Slips, RMR, Exception Reports, VMI, etc).
Prepare and process purchase Orders (Auto Creates).
Data Organization.
Communicate and coordinate with suppliers.
Error resolution.
All other duties as assigned.

Other Position Specifications

Must be customer service oriented.
Must be able to maintain company confidentiality.
Should be able to handle stress and deadlines.
Must be willing to participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
