This is a full-time, seasonal role ending October 2026. The starting wage for this role is $16.00 per hour. Staff accommodation is available.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for service, including washing, chopping, portioning, and storing food items.
- Assist with the preparation and cooking of menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Set up, stock, and maintain prep stations to support efficient kitchen operations.
- Support banquet, wedding, and special event food production as needed.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including mixers, slicers, and dishwashing equipment when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and comply with all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory following proper food storage procedures.
- Support daily kitchen operations, cleaning duties, and perform other tasks as assigned.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?
- Previous kitchen, food service, or food preparation experience is an asset but not required.
- Basic knife skills and an interest in learning food preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
- Reliable, organized, and willing to take direction.
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
