Full Job Description

Required qualifications: PhD or equivalent terminal degree in respective area, and experience with course/subject material.

This is a blanket posting for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and not for a specific vacancy. Applicants will compose a pool for future needs as they arise in the department.

Lecturers will provide classroom teaching for ECE courses. Responsibilities include:

90%: Developing and teaching courses, advising students with regard to academic concerns and school-related organizations
10%: Other duties related to teaching of a course.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is one of the largest departments within the College of Science and Engineering. Current research areas include Biomedical and Biological Computation Methods; Devices and Systems; Communications, Signal Processing, and Networking; Computer Engineering, VLSI, and Circuits; Fields, Photonics, and Magnetics; Micro and Nano Structures; Sustainable Energy Systems, Power Electronics and Drives; Systems and Controls.
