Legal Assistant – Multiple Practice Areas – Onsite/Hybrid (Downtown Minneapolis, MN)

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant with experience supporting attorneys and paralegals in a fast-paced legal environment?

THE RIGHT STAFF is partnering with a well-established law firm in Downtown Minneapolis to hire several Legal Administrative Assistants across multiple practice areas. These opportunities are ideal for professionals who thrive on organization, anticipate attorney needs, and enjoy being a critical support partner within a collaborative legal team.

If you are proactive, adaptable, and energized by keeping legal operations running smoothly, this could be an excellent next step in your legal administrative career.

Essential Job Duties:

Provide day-to-day administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
Draft, revise, proofread, and finalize legal correspondence and documents with a high level of accuracy.
Maintain organized electronic client files, including uploading, naming, and managing documents, emails, and attachments.
Assist with billing and invoicing processes, expense reporting, and time entry coordination.
Initiate and process conflict checks, engagement letters, and new client onboarding materials.
Track attorney expenses, receipts, and reimbursements in accordance with firm policies.
Monitor attorney licensing, CLE requirements, and professional memberships.
Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and internal stakeholders as needed.
Provide backup support to other legal assistants during peak workloads or absences.

Practice Area Exposure May Include:

Commercial Real Estate: Purchase agreements, leases, closing documents, and transaction support.
Corporate: Entity formation documents, governance materials, contracts, and transaction support.
Health Care & Regulatory: Regulatory filings, licensing and compliance documentation, and administrative support for health care laws and government regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

1+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Administrative Assistant in a law firm or corporate legal setting is required.
Prior experience in one or more of the listed practice areas is required.
Familiarity with legal document management and intake processes, including conflicts and new matter setup is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and shifting workloads with professionalism.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning new technology tools.
Experience using iManage, Intapp, or similar legal support systems is a plus.

Position Benefits, Pay, and Schedule:

Direct-hire opportunities with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, paid parental leave, 401(k), and paid time off.
Full-time position located in downtown Minneapolis. Hybrid schedule available after training (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).
Compensation range: $48,000 – $91,000 annually, depending on experience and practice area alignment.
Standard business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
