Forensic Services on the campus of the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center has an exciting new opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician! While working under the direct supervision of a pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical services you will also be responsible for the following:
- Preparing medications and supplies for the Forensic Mental Health Program, the Forensic Nursing Home and the Community Behavioral Health Hospitals under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Unit dosing medications.

Stocking and maintaining Automated Dispensing Machines (ADM) per pharmacy procedures

Reviewing medication reconciliation reports and entering medication data into the electronic health record while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Providing support for nursing through phone, email, and Teams communication Reviewing reports for expired medications
-
Filing monthly dispensing reports.

Completing monthly medication room checks
Applicant must meet the following:

Applicants must have a valid driver's license

Registered with the Board of Pharmacy
-
Completion of a Pharmacy Technician certification educational program, OR at least one (1) year of pharmacy technician experience.

Possess current national certification as pharmacy technician
-
Ability to operate a unit dosing machine
-
Experience using an Omnicell and/or a carousel
-
Experience working with multiple software programs including Microsoft Excel
-
